Style Models

I have chosen to use these two magazine front covers as style models for my magazine.

 

 

 From this magazine I have attempted to interpret the title font, as well as using the font that is being used on the writing to the side of Rita Ora's head.

From this magazine I am using the layout and the location of the writing and placement of the photo to make my own look like this.

 I will be using the contents page from 'CLASH' to create my own contents page, I have chosen to follow just this magazine for my contents pages because I fell like this version suits my magazine better.

Titles

I decided that the style of the magazine I was first following was what I wanted, so I decided to change the majority of things featuring on my old front cover and began to create something new. By doing this I have started following two new style models and will continue to use only those two until I end up with the finished product.

I am using two magazines as my style models, Notion and CLASH. On one magazine main title overlaps with part of the boxy background, but on the other the title is just simply at the top of the page covering nothing.

I asked the for the opinions of 9 people who are in the age range of my target group and 6 people chose the image on the left and 3 the image on the right. 

I am going to ask more people their opinion and see which one looks more appealing and eye catching.

Front Cover Development

I added text to my front cover in the same style font again as my style model, this was to maximise how much my magazine looked like my style model. I feel like this shows that I am able to follow a structure whilst placing my own twist on it.
