Front Page Progress

This is my sidebar which I have placed onto my final front page template, I have measured up where I should place this against my style model, which is The Chronicle.

Sidebar Progress 3

This is now my nearly complete sidebar, all I have left to do is to now resize the font to make it look a bit neater.

Sidebar Text 2

I then added more font onto my sidebar, I am still using the font Tahoma.
This is going to be the text that am I going to use throughout most of my newspaper.

Sidebar Font

Until I can take the photo for my third sidebar story, I have began to add text.

This will help it have a more professional look and will begin to pull it all together. In order to achieve this look, I looked through various fonts on the Adobe Photoshop and found that the font Tahoma would be the best suited font.

New Measurements - Side Bar

Because I had to change the measurements for my whole front page, it also meant that I would have to change the size of the side bar.

After creating to correct sized template, I could now transfer all of my work from the previous sidebar and restart the editing process.

Just like The Evening Chronicle has on their sidebars, I have added black rectangle boxes which are fading to grey. As I add the last photo I will start to faded them into the images.

I began to add another photo, my second story.

New Template

Once I had already made a start on my sidebar and had transferred it over to my final template, I had realised that I had gotten the measurements wrong. In order to ensure that I was going to make my newspaper look as professional as possible, I had to redo the measurements, this included changing the measurements for the side bar too.
